CEPF The Vision
The Vision for the Park is to become a premier equestrian competition site, as
well as a tourist destination by conducting local, national, and international
amateur competitions.
We are realizing our vision by being watchful stewards of this valuable
resource. Through thoughtful planning, and the laying of a solid sustainable
foundation we will design a facility with riders, non-riders, spectators, and
the surrounding communities in mind. The park
’s activities will bolster the economies of the surrounding communities while
preserving much needed open space for use by families, horse enthusiasts, and
nature lovers.
The Park will serve as a community recreation center providing, riding, hiking,
picnic sites, camping, and day use.
Additionally, we anticipate that the facilities may be used from time to time
for non-equestrian events such as animal shows, fairs, and other broad-based
community events. All these elements combine to make the park an important
asset to not only the immediate community, but to the entire western region.
CEPF Mission
Camelot Equestrian Park Foundation (CEPF) is organized exclusively to be
charitable, educational, and to foster national and international amateur
sports competition. The specific purpose in furtherance of CEPF's charitable
objective is to facilitate educational and challenging experiences at Camelot
Equestrian Park located on a large family farm and land preserve dedicated to
agricultural, equestrian and recreational use. These experiences enable youth
and adults to become knowledgeable and skilled in horsemanship. CEPF promotes
competition in equestrian sports primarily by conducting amateur competitions
in equestrian events. Additionally by hosting clinics CEPF helps to develop
amateur athletes for such competitions. To accomplish our mission, CEPF will
perform but not be limited to the following activities:
Expand and enhance Camelot Equestrian Park to become a multi-discipline
equestrian park facility designed to promote the development of amateur
equestrians and capable of holding competitions in all seven Federation
Equestre Internationale (FEI) disciplines.
Work with other non-profit organizations with similar goals such as horse
rescue/adoption organizations, therapeutic riding, Pony Club, and young and
adult rider organizations.
Educate the public about horses and horse care, through instruction, clinics,
and service as a local and regional center for equine information.
Demonstrate by example, the importance of preserving open space for equestrian
use with an emphasis on sustainability and compatibility with the environment.
